A 1% International Transaction Fee will be assessed on all transactions where the merchant country differs from the country of the card issuer. The converted transaction amount and the International Transaction fee will appear as one amount on your account statement. Loan Rates
Each Member's savings are insured to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration , an agency of the federal government. Individual Retirement Accounts are insured to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration , an agency of the federal government. If we decide to do this, we will recredit your account within ten business days (five business days for VISA® Debit Card purchases) for the amount you think is in error, so you will have the use of the money during the time it takes to complete our investigation. Each Credit Union Member receives one vote as long as they maintain a $25 minimum balance in their savings account. Overdrafts - If any withdrawal with your card creates a negative balance in your account, you shall repay to us the amount of such overdraft, including customary and usual overdraft charges in the same manner as any other overdraft on such an account. You are entitled to elect, and be elected to, the volunteer Board of Directors, which sets policies for the operation of the Credit Union based on the needs and wishes of the Members. The Board of Directors sets dividend rates, loan interest rates, and fees, among other things, and also determines Credit Union policy.

This rate may vary from the rate VISA itself receives, or the government-mandated rate in effect for the applicable central processing date plus the 1% International Transaction Fee. You may also pay for purchases at places that have agreed to accept your card (called Point-of-Sale purchases). While going through life changes, I would not have been able to purchase a vehicle on my own without the help of my credit union. From the loan officer, to the processor and the teller, they made the transaction go smoothly and be convenient with my schedule. I have my savings, checking and loan accounts with Community Credit Union because they make it easy to do business with them and I like being a name rather than a number. Their staff is very pleasant and always willing to help; they are like extended family.
